Is 2026 Really Almost Over

Hi Friends,

It’s been a musically lovely year in the midst of nearly overwhelming busyness on everyone’s part in our band. Yet we keep meeting most every week to connect and work on new songs, which as you know, always include instrumental sections. Sometimes those sections are made of our own compostional ideas, and sometimes made of tunes!

This is just a short note to say hello and share that our new songs are feeling so good and if you missed them at the Annual Subdued Stringband Jamboree, and missed all the lovely house concerts we played this year, you can hear them soon.

The Bellingham Celtic Festival is next on October 9, then Dancing Fish Vineyards on Whidbey Island on October 16, then The Chicken Barn on Whidbey Island on December 11, and lastly for this year, at The Firehouse Arts & Events Center in Fairhaven, Bellingham, on December 13.

And, most happily, we are planning on recording a few new songs soon, so stay tuned, we’ll be keeping you apprised.
